The weather has us both indoors and outdoors these days. Manny had high hopes for playing out in the snow, which he did. But it was the heavy variety and he found it easier to sit himself down in it, and pout about it a little too.
We spent the day at Tower Hill Botanic Garden a couple weeks ago on a positively gorgeous day, albeit still chilly. I hope to get back up there soon in order to get these kiddos out and in the fresh air. Jim was saddened that Manny thought we were deep in the woods when in actuality we were a stone’s throw from the center. His response, “We need to get this kid out in nature more often!” When it was just the two of us, we were always outdoors, taking a hike, hanging out. As much as we try to get outdoors as much as possible, it doesn’t happen with as much regularity as it should. We’re working on it.
Indoors, we’ve got some seeds started thanks to some motivation from a good friend with the greenest thumb I know. I’ve never started any seeds indoors. We’ll see what pops up.
And our usual, painting. He could do this for hours.
Thursday is supposed to reach 60 degrees here. Now that will get us outdoors, for sure.
