Donuts at home

Today was ch-i-ll-y! Manny’s class had a meet-up at the park and if not for that I would have likely stayed in all day. The park was wet but the sun managed to peek out just as we were getting ready to leave. We came home and spent the rest of the day indoors. I’ve had my eye on this recipe for cider spiced donut holes from Honey Bear Lane. Manny is a donut fan, they may be his most favorite treat. His response after trying one was, “These are delicious!!” They were delicious, and SO easy! They were the perfect thing to warm us up. The only thing I did differently was to omit the pumpkin pie spice because I didn’t have any on hand. Although the frying part is not good for little ones to get involved with, the rolling of the dough and then rolling in the sugar mixture was great for my almost 4 year old. Just a couple grainy cell phone pics.
